User name: JackMasterLooter

What is your Minecraft username? JackMasterLooter

What age bracket are you in? I'm 18 years old

What is your current rank on Vale? Citizen

Have you been an active participant within the Vale Community for a minimum of two months? I've been active since the server launched recently and was active for at least 2 months before the reset

Why do you want to be a Vale Moderator? I wish to be a moderator partly because the server seems a little short staffed and like there isn't always a staff member on. Another reason is I'd like to experience what it's like to be more involved in a server as nice as Vale.

Give us three reasons of why you would be a suitable moderator and why we should select you to become part of the staff team. Reason 1: I can't remember causing trouble or breaking any rules at all since I first joined in 2015. Reason 2: I won't abuse any power mostly because I don't really have an interest in that. Reason 3: I can remain calm in tough situations.

How do you think you've demonstrated moderator qualities in your time with Vale? Honestly, the only things I can think of is not breaking any rules and giving out a helping hand uncommonly.

On a scale of 1-5, how knowledgeable do you believe you are with regard to Vale rules and regulations? 4

What timezone do you live in? CST

How much time and when would you say you are able to dedicate to the Craftblock community throughout the week? I can easily contribute at least 2-3 hours on several days of the week.

Do you have a Discord account? Yes

If you answered yes to the previous question, when would you be available to participate in Staff group conversations? Between 12:00 PM and 10:00 PM

Scenario 1 - A player has recently joined the server and has been pretty quiet; not talking too much. When you go to assist them, you notice that they have began to grief someone's building in the wild. How would you handle this situation? I would politely inform them of the rule against griefing and then ask them to give back any items they may have taken during the grief.

Scenario 2 - While on the server, a player suddenly gets very excited about surviving an ambush of mobs. They talk using multiple lines and or all caps for a single sentence. You notice on the forums that the player has already been warned for similar actions multiple times by another staff member, and has even been muted once before. How would you handle this situation? I'd give this player a warning and possibly a mute, depending on how many times they have been warned for the same actions.

Scenario 3 - While on the server, 3 new players join at about the same time. Suddenly, all 3 of them start spamming the chat with rude epithets repeatedly. What actions do you take to quell the situation and stop the chaos in chat? I ask them to stop their spamming of rude words. If they do not stop, I warn them. If they still do not stop, I'd kick them from the server. As for the unrest in chat, I'd inform everyone that the spammers have been kicked and hopefully aren't coming back.

Scenario 4- While online you come across another staff member handling a situation. The players are being rather rude and continue to cause trouble while the other staff member is attempting to handle the issue. What would you do in this situation? I'd see if the other staff can handle it at first, but if the player continues to be rude, I would step in and ask them to show a little bit of respect to a staff member who is only trying to help.
